So I know that the last music I posted on here was all my favorite worship music and now I am posting secular music but it’s really catchy…and fun to dance to and blast in the car with your best friends 🙂
So here’s Katy Perry’s ET ft. Kanye West (yes, the video is a little odd and frankly I prefer the version without Kanye but oh well. the graphics are neat.)

So believe it or not I am obsessed with yet another Lady Gaga song. This time it’s because the song is so ridiculous and incredibly catchy. I also enjoy it because it is the name of my friend Megan’s stomach. So this song goes out to her and her tummy. Haha

You know those songs that are just so powerful and meaningful? The ones that give you chills every time you hear it? Well this song is definitely one of those songs. Embracing Accusation by: Shane and Shane is one of the most moving songs I have ever heard. It has a lot to do with my summer on Operation Barnabas. (A summer leadership training/missions trip for high schoolers. Visit www.cenational.org for more info.) The most amazing part of this song for me is at the end when there is a part of one of John Piper’s sermon “The Obedience of Faith”. (Click here to read/listen: http://www.desiringgod.org/ResourceLibrary/Sermons/ByDate/2006/1901_Command_of_God_The_Obedience_of_Faith/ )
So anyways…here it is. There isn’t anything to watch, just the song, but that’s okay. You can use that time to really reflect upon the words without distraction.

So Paul introduced me to this…and I gotta say that I am in love with it. Seriously, amazing. Yes it is a remake of an older song but it is legit. Instead of trying to sing it himself, Jay-Z had Mr. Hudson come sing it! Ah!! Amazing!! So here it is, let me know what you think puh-lease :]
Young Forever by: Jay-Z featuring Mr. Hudson

So this weekend and coming week I am home on spring break. Now my little nephews have always loved singing and dancing to music but this time when I came home little Matty was really into singing the songs on the radio. I’m so proud! Or ashamed…since he loves people like Lady Gaga and Ke$Ha lol. So in honor of my little Matty here’s one he loves by: Lady Gaga, Poker Face.
Another song that I just had to put up was one that we jammed to in the car on the way home today for spring break. It’s basically amazing. Perfect in every way for dance parties! All I Ever Wanted by: Basshunter

My roommate plays a rather unique instrument: Mika the Mahalo Ukulele. Today she was working on learning Hey Soul Sister by Train. So in honor of her and her efforts I present to you the music video. (Maybe one day soon it will be a video of her playing it 🙂 )
March 7, 2010
One of my favorite bands is Owl City. His songs are fun as well as very meaningful. One of my favorites is called Meteor Shower. I believe the lyrics are reflecting words from the Bible and how we are not our own but we are of Christ and that He has made us new. Let me know what you think.

For this particular page I think that it will be really cool to upload my favorite songs of either my past or present. So to start this off I’ve decided to go with Jai Ho by The Pussycat Dolls. I don’t know what it is about this song but my roommate and I are obsessed with it. We literally listen to it at least 5 times a week. So enjoy!
